Covid-10 Response in Callao, Peru
Fundación Integración Comunitaria (FIC) works to improve the quality of life within impoverished communities in Peru around Trafigura Group offices and operational sites.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, FIC organised a humanitarian response to support the most underserved communities in Callao and delivered monthly hygiene kits and food baskets to 450 families over six months (from July to December 2020). Trafigura Foundation supported the organisation of this humanitarian action with a special grant.
In addition, FIC also distributed flyers with information on personal hygiene practices and COVID-19 prevention.
