We are experiencing an unprecedented health crisis that is generating long-term social and economic consequences at global level. These will be particularly challenging for those who were already vulnerable before the COVID-19 outbreak, such as migrants, refugees and displaced people; individuals facing homeless, financial difficulties and unemployment; the older generations; populations living in countries with fragile health systems; and all those who live at the margins of our societies.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been reshaping our full allocation of resources to adequately address this global crisis.
